PJ Harvey has contributed two new songs to an upcoming documentary about Irish film critic Mark Cousins. According to Harvey’s Facebook (via Exclaim), “Horse” and “Bobby Don’t Steal”, as well as the title track to her 1995 album Bring You My Love, will appear on the soundtrack to What Is This Film Called Love?.

The Washington Post reports that Chuck Brown, the guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer credited widely as "The Godfather of Go-Go," died today due to complications from pneumonia. He was 75.

Since forming in 2007, Los Angeles indie-pop band Saint Motel have been known for their raucous live shows (they’ve thrown several Valentine’s zombie proms) and a sound that favored anthemic bursts of rhythm.
